Swedish customs CBRN-vanAnother shot of one of the customs CBRN vans.
Their objective is to patrol the Swedish shoretline as well as making spot tests in our harbours. Besides that, they are able to assist at accidens and crimes involving hazardous materials. They always drive around with a very sensitive gamma spectrometer turned on, which not only detects radiation, it tells which source material it originated from as well. Additionally, they can detect emitted neutrons, making it possible to detect radioactive material even when the source is heavily shielded.Mar 04, 2007

Hot pixel evaluationCutout of faulty region from 256 consecutive images downloaded from my digicam. If you click the image, it's supposed to show the image unscaled (1024x1024). Just placed here in case my warehouse/service centre gives me trouble again. Had to make a longer fault description (located at hotpixel) to make sure they check it for this error...

After second repairSurprise, now there are two hot pixels.
The good thing is that it proves that they really changed the CCD - the bad thing is that it's even worser now then before.
It's really strange how they affect the surrounding pixels, just as if there is a bug in the cameras internal processing.
