My favourite moon picture753 viewsImage of the moon taken at 12x zoom. Then cropping around the moon, and enlarging. I also did some minor adjustment of levels. Not bad for a point and shoot camera.

It's a very noisy image, and most stars can't be seen even if one plays with levels, due to the large ammount of noise. I put this image with a higher gamma in the album as well, where it's more clear how noisy the original image really is.

The moon behind some thin clouds.706 viewsUncropped 12x zoomed image of the moon. I like the effect of the thin clouds, so I enhanced it a little by increasing gamma slightly. Then resized from 2560x1920 down to 1024x768 (just as most of my images).
