burning cooking oilIn this photo, one table spoon of cooking oil was placed in a can and put on a camping stove, and when the oil started burning, water was added.
This demonstrates that it's never a good idea to extinguish burning cooking oil with water. One should instead suffocate the fire by putting a lid on the container if cooking oil starts to burn.Oct 12, 2008

CattleSome kind of cattle. They suddently occupied a field which students normally crosses while going from the dormitories to the closest subway station.

70 frames aligned and summed together (enhanced 2)This is the result of aligning 70 frames captured at ISO200, 8sec, f/2.8. with my Panasonic FZ20. Levels and gamma adjusted to view most stars.
Used a simple tripod and a remote shutter. Alignment was done by own software partly written in C, and partly in matlab (i'm using octave). Sourcecode will be released when I'm done with my thesis.
Don't forget to view the first image of the 70 frame sequence, and compare the difference.
